JSC Ingenium - News: JSC Ingenium shares the keys to monetising 5G SA at Telco Transformation Latam
  • The company, which is celebrating three decades in the industry, is attending as a sponsor and speaker to analyse ways of monetising 5G Standalone and the evolution of ISPs into MVNOs.

JSC Ingenium is participating as a sponsor and speaker at the upcoming edition of Telco Transformation Latam, the leading event for the telecommunications ecosystem in Latin America, taking place on 19 and 20 August at the Windsor Oceânico Hotel in Rio de Janeiro. The event will bring together more than 800 professionals to address the challenges of the transition from the traditional ‘Telco’ model to the ‘TechCo’ model, with a particular focus on topics such as autonomous networks, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and cloud-native architectures.

With 30 years’ experience supporting mobile operators worldwide, JSC Ingenium will demonstrate at this event how its portfolio of cloud-native Core Network and BSS systems enables regional players – both those already offering mobile services and those looking to introduce them – to scale their operations, gain autonomy and launch new converged services cost-effectively.

Expanding connectivity versus real monetisation: the debate in Brazil

The Brazilian 5G market is undergoing rapid roll-out. According to data from Anatel, the country surpassed 63.1 million 5G connections in the first quarter of 2026, representing a 46.6 per cent increase in subscriptions compared with the previous year. However, the widespread adoption of the network contrasts with the growth in operators’ revenues.

On 19 August, from 3.30 pm, Nina Juliana Aguilera will address this mismatch in her presentation 5G has arrived. Where’s the revenue? and explain why it is so important for operators to understand this new landscape, characterised by agility, profitability and operational optimization.

Nina will analyse three areas that will shape the future of the sector in Brazil: convergence in network access – with FWA as the main use case for 5G – private networks and the IoT. She will also explain the practical benefits of having a scalable solution that does not require major investment at the time of deployment and that provides technological independence from the supplier.
