Grupo Ingenium Tecnología appoints Carlos Barba as the new CFO

Grupo Ingenium Tecnología , the holding company to which JSC Ingenium belongs, has appointed Carlos Barba as Chief Financial Officer. In his new GIT position, Carlos Barba will be responsible for the management, control and financial analysis of all the group’s subsidiaries.

An expert in international taxation, M&A transactions, and Corporate Governance, Carlos Barba has more than 20 years of experience in the international Fintech telecommunications sector. He holds a Business Administration Degree from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, a Master’s degree in Taxation and Fiscal Advisory from CEF and a General Management Program from IESE Business School-University of Navarra.

In his new position, Carlos takes on the challenge of maximising the opportunities for the reactivation of projects after the international hiatus resulting from the pandemic and optimising the synergies of the group’s companies in order to boost their international development in an increasingly complex economic and financial environment.

Carlos Barba replaces Carmen Ayuga, who led Grupo Ingenium’s financial management for seven years and actively participated in Alantra’s entry into Grupo Ingenium’s shareholding and in the expansion process of the company in Latin America.
